Joanne and I just returned from a WONDERFUL trip to Costa Rica. We married in April, 2007 and had such a fabulous time there that we decided to make our honeymoon an annual event. We’re on our third!
Here is a picture of us in the lagoon nestled in the crater of the extinct volcano, Cerro Chato near Arenal and La Fortuna.
Nearby, the active volcano Arenal, pictured below, is shrouded in vapor. A favorite local spectacle is to watch (from a “safe distance”) the volcano kick out glowing hot boulders which tumble down the sides.
The time together was important and happy. We’ve been working so hard that our relationship was missing out. Time to get back into our old practice of getting away together once a month – even if just for a night by car… It does wonders for our spirits!
